There comes a time when we must all decide whether we are too old to drive. Families may be concerned about the safety of a loved one or indeed about the safety of other road users. It is an extremely difficult subject to discuss, but that discussion must take place at some time. This short video highlights some of the issues faced by drivers as a result of the natural ageing process and it is hoped that it will help either the driver, or those that care about them, to seek professional advice from a qualified Driving Instructor. It may be that some help is all that is required to give the elderly driver the confidence to continue or it may be that the advice is to consider giving up the car for everyone’s safety and peace of mind.
